
| Pastor Kimmel grow up in a Christian home and attended the great First Baptist Church of Hammond, Indiana where he sat under the leadership of Dr. Jack Hyles until the age of 19, when Dr. Hyles went to be with the Lord. At the age of nine, Pastor Kimmel trusted Christ as his Saviour. Pastor Kimmel attended the Hammond Baptist School system, a ministry of First Baptist Church, where he graduated in 2000. Later that year he enrolled in Hyles-Anderson College, a college owned and operated my by First Baptist Church. There he felt God calling him to work in Jamaica. In 2003, 2004 and 2005, Pastor Kimmel visited different parts of Jamaica looking as to where God would lead him. In 2004, Pastor Kimmel graduated with his Bachelor's Degree in Missions. Two weeks after graduation, Pastor and Mrs. Kimmel were married. Pastor Kimmel and his family moved to Jamaica on January 3, 2006. From May, 2006 to January 2007, he pastored Emmanuel Baptist Church in Kingston which he resigned to start another church. Shortly after resigning as pastor, Mrs. Kimmel gave birth to their first son. In April of that same year, Pastor Kimmel began holding Bibles studies out of his home in attempts to start a chuch. After just a few weeks, on June 24th, Fundamental Baptist Church was founded. Since then, they have moved into their current site where they have seen a steady increase in attendance. Pastor Kimmel is currently studying to receive his masters from Crown Seminary located in Powell Tennessee. Crown Seminary is a ministry of Temple Baptist Church. | Rev. T.J. Kimmel

Dear Friend, Let me start off by thanking you for visiting our web site. June 24, 2007 marked the opening day of Fundamental Baptist Church. Since then we have seen countless blessings from God. It has been my priveledge to serve the people of Jamaica since January, 2006. If there is anything that I, or our church, can do for you, please do not hesitate to ask. Fundamental Baptist Church is doing what they can to help each and every individual on this beautiful island. If you are in the Kingston area and do not have a place to worship, we would love to have you visit with us. Each Sunday morning we serve a hot breakfast to all those that attend church starting at 10:45am.
